I consider this a prototype portfolio page, if only because I still haven't managed to pinpoint a layout that fits my own unique style. All I can say here is that I enjoy the color purple, and so that's what I went with at the time, though I'm still experimenting.
The majority are gesture sketches of models posing with a few prop studies thrown in.

Hybrid of the Future: DropLT
Another futuristic project from my Sketching class. This time I had to come up with a hybrid vehicle that could run on anything believable: sunlight, electricity, though I ended up with a water-based hybrid car. I'm particularly proud of the name.
My Thought Process:
The DropLT
(Drawn on paper, scanned, inked and rendered in Photoshop)
My Thought Process:
Lots of Thumbnails (Marker)
Best Thumbnails
Car Concept Roughs (Prismacolor Pencil)
Final Sketch (Prismacolor Pencil)
Another area I was unfamiliar with; vehicles. But like the rifle before it, I found this as a fun challenge and it was interesting to see what I could think up when prompted to step out of my comfort zone.
Futuristic Rifle: The Junkyard
This is a weapon assignment from my class 'Sketching for Animators and Illustrators'. It had to be a futuristic rifle. I went ahead and let my imagination run wild. Final version was drawn on paper, scanned, inked in Illustrator then painted/textured in Photoshop.
The Junkyard.
A space marine crash lands on a planet inhabited by an aggressive alien species and in order to survive he has to take apart his ship and craft a gun from the spare parts.
My Thought Process:
1st Generation Thumbnails (Sharpie)
1st Generation Roughs (Pencil and marker)
2nd Generation Thumbnails (Photoshop)
Final Ink and Silhouette (Illustrator)
As someone who isn't too fond of guns (I'm more of the hand-to-hand weapons type) I'm actually pretty proud of how this came out. :3
